Mary K has locked down the radio field with over a decade of experience and has worked in Florida, North Carolina and now at 957 JAMZ in Birmingham, Alabama for 11 years! Currently Mary K is the #1 Mid-day Personality and Program Director at 957 JAMZ and 610 WAGG! Also “MK” was recognized as the 2008 on air personality of the year from the Alabama Broadcasters Association. She was born and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida; graduated from Ely High School – Pompano Beach, Florida and proud graduate of Bethune-Cookman College – Daytona Beach, Florida “Let’s Go Wildcats”. “MK” says the “highpoint” of her career is when she rode Disney World’s Splash Mountain for 48 hours to raise over 10 thousand dollars for the Red Cross. Mary K’s other passions are the arts and her love for the community. Mary K has been involved with various projects including films such as Hide and Creep and Alice’s Misadventures in Wonderland, television commercials such as Midfield Dodge and Iron Works Gym, voice over commercials for national adds’ for KFC, Everything But Water, Title Max, Coca Cola and more. In her free time Mary K enjoys oil painting, chillin’ with her Jack Russell Terrier “Buddy”, shopping for shoes & designer purses and her service to all mankind with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
